Cari Cari suchen nach dem Interessanten, dem Ungesehen und Ungehörten – irgendwo zwischen Melbourne, London und Tokyo. Die Band tauchte in die Szenen dieser Städte ein und nahm dabei aus jeder Einzelnen nicht nur Erinnerungen, sondern vor allem auch Inspiration mit. All diese Eindrücke verschmelzen zu einer besonderen Art von Musik, so klingt Cari Cari so vermessen, wie East London’s Punks, mit der DIY-Attitude von Melbourne’s Fitzroy und der subtilen Eleganz Tokios.
