Es steht ein neuer Stern am düsteren Sludge- und Post Metal-Himmel. Conjurer teilten in den vergangenen vier Jahren bereits die Bühne mit diversen Szeneschwergewichten. Mit "Mire" erschien nun ihr erstes Album, das den live erspielten Ruf als das nächste grosse Ding in der Welt dunkler Klangmonolithen untermauern soll. Und genau das macht diese Platte auch. Keine Band ist derzeit auch nur annähernd so heavy wie diese Jungs aus den Midlands. Das ganze tönt wie ein furioser Mix aus Converge, Neurosis und Gojira!
