COUNTERFEIT. setzen ein zündendes Riff ans nächste, setzen mit gleich drei Gitarren jede Bühne in Brand und kontrastieren diese Macht mit dem melodiösen Songwriting, das Bowers Stimme so perfekt in Szene setzt. Die Londoner haben den Underground ihrer Heimatstadt und die Musikgeschichte Grossbritanniens aufgesogen, um sie in soundsatten Songs wieder auszuspucken. Mal knorriger Punk, mal einfühlsame Ballade. Diese Mischung des Quintetts hat sie rund um die Welt gebracht, und dabei machen sie einen Stop im KIFF, um die Bude abzureissen.
