Dragged Under (US) - Abgesagt

Dragged Under hat sich entschieden eine Band/Touring pause einzulegen - Leider bedeutet das das sie auch nicht bei uns im KIFF Auftreten werden. Bereits gekaufte Tickets werden zurückerstattet.

Hier das statement der Band: 

"Hey friends, we wanted to take a second to update you on where we’re at lately. We’ve been quiet and its for good reason. We’ve been evaluating what the future of the band looks like, and while we still plan on releasing music this year, (which is already in the works) we are in dire need of a break from full time touring. We will be taking some time off to focus on raising our growing families, pursuing other passions and just taking a break from the rigorous schedule that we’ve been on for the past few years.How long this will last, we’re not sure. We appreciate your patience, understanding and the continued support of our music. Apologies to anyone who was looking forward to seeing us in EU this spring."

Da rollt etwas auf uns alle zu, was sich nicht so leicht bremsen lässt. Nachdem Dragged Under mit ihrem ersten Album „The World Is In Your Way“ (2020) und der darauffolgenden EP „We’ll Do It Live“ (2021) grosse Erfolge feiern konnten, erschien mit „Upright Animals“ am 10. Juni 2022 das Folgealbum. Die Band, die ihren Sound selbst als „drei Teile Punkrock, ein Teil Metalcore/Hardcore“ beschreibt, kommt bereits von Beginn an zur Sache. Stilistisch reicht es von Metalcore, über Punkrock, Alternative bis hin zu Hardcore. Klingt nach „too much“ – ist es aber nicht. Die fünf Rocker aus Seattle schaffen mit „Upright Animals“ einen stilreichen, harmonischen und abwechslungsreichen Sound.
