Midnight & Night Demon
Im April 2017 veröffentlichte das aus Ventura, Kalifornien stammende Trio ihr zweites Album "Darkness Remains". Viele Journalisten bejubelten das Album als Paradebeispiel einer Old-School-Metal-Scheibe, die frischen Wind in den zeitlosen NWOBHM-Sound bringt. Aufgrund dieses überaus positiven Presse-Echos konnten sich Night Demon (USA) in zahlreichen Jahresbesten- und Poll-Listen platzieren. Ihr erstes Live Album "Live Darkness" wurde im rappelvollen "Beachland Ballroom" aufgenommen und beeindruckt den Hörer mit einer umfangreichen Setlist und einzigartigen Live-Präsenz. Anno 2021 bedarf es in Sachen Midnight (USA) eigentlich keiner weiteren Vorstellung, hier dennoch in aller Kürze: Angeführt von der verdrehten Muse des Mainman Athenar, schlachtet sich dieser Cleveland-Kult bereits seit 2003 durch den Metal/Punk Underground mit seinem ureigenen, süchtig machenden Brand aus Begierde, Schmutz und Sleaze. Dabei hat die Band einen beachtlichen Katalog angehäuft und sich eine rasant wachsende Fanbase erspielt.
