Peter Kernel ist eine schweizerisch-kanadische Art-Punk-Band, die von Aris Bassetti (Gitarre, Stimme, Grafikdesigner) und Barbara Lehnhoff (Bass, Stimme, Filmemacherin) gegründet wurde. Inspiriert von einer Liebesgeschichte spielen sie Musik die jeder spielen kann, in dem Versuch, den grundlegenden menschlichen Instinkt zu befriedigen: Ein Beat, Laute Instrumente und ein paar Worte - Einfach Rock.
