Swallow The Sun waren noch nie für heitere Musik bekannt, und spätestens nach dem Tod der Musikerin Aleah Stanbridge, der Lebensgefährtin von Bandkopf Juha Raivio, ging die Musik der Finnen in eine noch deutlich düstere und melancholischere Richtung. Shining erscheint nun mitte Oktober und zeigt sich wieder positiver. Natürlich gibt es immer noch schwere Death/Doom Brocken, aber es durchdringt wieder mehr Licht die Kompositionen. Wunderschöne Musik um darin zu versinken, nicht verpassen.
