Nicht viele erstklassige Death-Metal-Bands können innerhalb eines Jahres ein Album aufnehmen und veröffentlichen und anschließend eine umfangreiche Tournee starten. Das war kaum je der Fall für das gnadenlose, viszerale INGESTED aus Manchester, England. Seit der Veröffentlichung ihres fünften Albums, "Where Only God May Tread", im Jahr 2020 befindet sich die Band in einem kreativen Rausch, der fast jedes Jahr ein vollständiges Album hervorbringt - sogar während der COVID-19-Pandemie. Dieser Rausch hat jedoch zu einer Art musikalischem Wachstum geführt, das nur durch ständiges Üben, Spielen und Schreiben erreicht werden kann.
Das neueste Werk der Band, "The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams", ist nicht nur so innovativ und brutal wie ihre letzte Platte - das düstere Inferno "Ashes Lie Still" - es zeigt auch eine Band, die bereit ist, ihre Kreativität zu erweitern, ohne die Wildheit zu opfern, die sie zu einer der beeindruckendsten, zerstörerischsten technischen Death-Metal-Bands auf der Bühne gemacht hat. "The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams" beweist, dass INGESTED, sobald sie eine Spur musikalischen Blutes erschnüffeln, ihr räuberisch verfolgen, bis sie ein faulendes Festmahl aufgedeckt haben
