DONNA BLUE
Die Muse des jeweils anderen, Liebhaber und Kollaborateure. Das kreative Duo hinter Donna Blue spielt schwülen Indie-Pop, unter dem Einfluss von Sixties-Yé-Yé, Lynch-Filmen und alter Hollywood-Romantik. Sie starteten 2017 und veröffentlichten ihre erste Single "Sunset Blvd", ein Song, der von keinem Geringeren als Elton John in seiner eigenen Radioshow gespielt wurde, worauf zwei 7-Inches in den beiden Folgejahren folgten. Da die Band aus den Niederlanden stammt, spielte sie mehrere Shows im Ausland, mit einer Tour durch Spanien und einer (von Corona abgebrochenen) Tour durch die Vereinigten Staaten nach der Veröffentlichung ihrer letzten EP "Inbetween". Während ihrer Zeit in den USA hatten sie Zeit, das Paste Magazine Studio in New York zu besuchen, was zu einer schönen Live-Session führte.
JOSHUA MURPHY
Multiinstrumentalist und Songwriter Joshua Murphy präsentiert seine neue Veröffentlichung 'Lowlands'. Geschrieben in Berlin während 2019 / 2020 und produziert von Martin J Fiedler, ist Lowlands eine Sammlung von dunklen zeremoniellen Geschichten, eine Erzählung von düsterer, atmosphärischer Komposition und Storytelling.
